Steve's vision is a network of high quality Centres for Recycling and Sustainability, initially across the UK, treating organic waste locally, generating sustainable energy for the local community and reducing emissions in the process. Steve is a member of the Climate Change Taskforce, the Advisory Group to the Climate Change Business Summit hosted by HRH Prince of Wales, is Chairman of the CBI SME Council, a member of a DTI investment taskforce and an HMRC advisory board. | ||

| John is also Group Development Director of Bio Group. Having worked in the field of organic waste treatment and recycling for 20 years John is one of the most experienced organic waste specialists in the business. He has gained extensive overseas experience in organic waste treatment in Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, India, Nepal and Iceland. Management of projects, of all scales and sizes, from smaller composting units to multi-million pound composting facilities and anaerobic digestion units are all within his remit. John is a Director of the Composting Association. | ||

| Paul is Group Finance Director for Bio Group, the parent company for Compost Recycling Services, Material Change and Global Recycling. A Chartered Accountant with 15 years experience working with businesses up to £100m turnover to improve their profitability, financial management and decision making. Paul has significant experience in the contracting, engineering and service sectors, as well as M&A and City experience from work on mergers, compliance and reporting for AIM listed companies. | ||

| Ian Paterson spent over 30 years with Midland Bank (now part of HSBC) He was a main board director of the Bank responsible for their UK based businesses. Subsequently he was an executive director of Standard Chartered Bank responsible for their UK and North American business. Over recent years he has chaired a number of private company boards; including financial services, hotels and waste management. He has also undertaken charity work including the chairing of St Clare Hospice, Harlow as well as being a trustee of a number of other charities. He was on the board of Freedom Food, a subsidiary of the RSPCA, for a number of years. | ||

| David was a director of Shanks Group plc for thirteen years, as group finance director. He joins us as a non-executive director, along with Ian Paterson. A qualified Accountant, he holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and a degree in Civil Engineering from Kings College, University of London. David holds a number of non-executive directorships across a broad spectrum of industry. |
